Elon Musk financing the takeover of Twitter by selling millions of Tesla shares.

The subject is first and foremost that of freedom of expression. Elon Musk is an absolutist. He thinks content moderation has become too strict and may even be considering letting Donald Trump return to the platform. The problem is that the world is turning in the other direction with, in Europe, the DSA (Digital Services Act) or, in the United States, the reform projects of section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which allows platforms to not be prosecuted. But this is also the case in other countries such as England or India. Governments are realizing that they need to have content moderation rules. Moreover, it is not sure that the deal will be completed because the financing is not clear. Elon Musk wants to use mostly his own money but sees it’s too risky so he’s looking for others
