Elden Ring: when Elon Musk talks about it

Right now, Elon Musk is making headlines on Tuesday, April 26, because he became the owner of Twitter for a $44 billion deal. But between its takeover proposal and the negotiations of the deal, the future buyer of the social network has obviously decided to spend his time on Elden Ring. And it was on Twitter recently that he decided to make a statement about the title:

Elden Ring is amazing, but why are extremely violent scenes of death and murder considered ok while at the same time getting banned for underwear?!

Without contextualization, the question may seem curious but it is quite relevant since it evokes the Deathbed Smalls. A pair of underwear not supposed to be in Elden Ring.

Elden Ring: why not collect the deathbed smalls?

The Deathbed Smalls

It is this pair of underwear that is the subject of Elon Musk’s interrogation. As stated above, she is not supposed to be in Elden Ring. However, some hackers manage to get their hands on it: this is the case of Pantsu Dealerwhich invades the worlds of players by abandoning the Deathbed Smalls. Out of curiosity, players pick up the underwear and are therefore banned from the game. But why? Simply because “armor” isn’t supposed to be in the final game. Therefore, the anti-cheat system assumes that the player has cheated by appropriating something usually impossible to have. An anti-cheat system bypassed by Pantsu Dealer.

This is not the first time that such a system has been used by hackers. A month ago, we told you about hacker Malcolm Reynolds who considered himself “a necessary evil for Bandai Namco“: the latter invaded the worlds of other players with modified (and overpowering) spells which added the object to their bag pavel. Not to appear in the final version of the game, this object had the misfortune to banish anyone who had it in their inventory.
